I am so happy to be back to historical fiction. Already crying, and already loving this one.

This is the first time I hate a dual POV.

I like this, I do but what I would like even more id BEING ABLE TO GIVE HALF STARS

I could have really done without this other pov.

As someone who read a lot of brothers grimm growing up, I am so cozy in this book right now. It was exactly what I needed; a fantastical adventure with a slightly darker tone.

Personally, calling someone "pet" will never not ick me. Sir, you didn't find her at petco 🤢

I am so glad this is almost over, and simply how many more "red herrings" (cause they aren't even believable ones) is she going to throw before I am swimming with them 😳

Jeneva what is actually happening right now. I swear she watched one episode of law and order to write the legalese of this book. Yet here I am completely sat and reading 🤷‍♀️

I really want to like this and I want to see what happens but "her face blank and shock-y"....I mean....we couldn't have found another word....

I know the twins are odd. I could have inferred their relationship BUT i did not need this many uncomfortable and incestuous scenes THIS early on....especially in a YA 😑
