I can’t help thinking about the childhood trauma the main characters carry and how it might shape their need to feel sexually wanted. It feels like their pull toward a polygamous relationship could be tied to deeper issues, like growing up with emotionally unavailable parents or witnessing infidelity at home. These patterns can leave people searching for validation.

I want to rush through some of this but I’m hopeful that the plot will thicken as I continue.
