im loving this humor

my thing is, i really like this story. and interesting things are happening in every chapter now in little bits. but i think the way that the writing is makes the things that are happening seem so uninteresting. like the author wants me to feel bored in whats happening. or maybe im just blaming someone else for my own problems

i’m confused??? this girl is like every other insufferable fmc ever. i feel MISLEAD by all these striking reviews. if this ends up a Arin and Sylvia novel WHICH IT SEEMS TO BE, im gonna be pissed

i know i’ve said this like 2 or 3 times already, but i really don’t like maggie. she’s so arrogant and she wants to be involved in things that aren’t her specialty. remember you’re not a warrior nor are you from there girl 😭

i am trying so hard to get through this but the info-dumping and her inner dialogue about reynald is making it very difficult

i thought this book wouldnt do this. but it's already starting im so upset. first of all, why did the two women do the cleaning? and second of all, her going "that's what it was. poetry... oddly beautiful... mesmerizing," over him practicing fighting is killing me. and on top of that, him saying he'd protect her from danger and her going "it felt so... reassuring." i hate only pathetic over a man fmcs.
