Conflicting. I can tell that Belly really wants to be happy with Jeremiah, and her happiness is genuine. But I can’t help but think about how she might regret jumping into an ENGAGEMENT?? This is fiction after all, maybe it could work… but all I’m hearing when she thinks about Conrad is WILDFLOWER by Billie Eilish. I’ll be happy if her engagement works out because going back to Conrad CAN’T BE AN OPTION!
