This book is trying to actively murder me.

This book really makes use of every single word. You cannot skim this, you have to let every sentence marinate, which is a good thing.

Okay I just finished chapter three, what I’m presenting on, so here are some quick real time notes and thoughts.

- I love the artstyle, I think it’s charming at the right times and bleak and harsh at the right times.
- I love the father-son dynamic, I love family dynamics. I don’t always love the way they speak, but it still feels realistic.
- My favorite panels are the ones with the father and Anja.

I’m only supposed to read and present on the first half of this book it will not take me as long to finish this as it would look.

I’m thoroughly obsessed with this book.
