I’m still not sure this book is for me, I have moments of being really into the story, but then it loses me… I had to read the lore of Colden and the gods a couple times to understand- there was so much assumed prior knowledge I felt like I must have skipped a chapter or something?? I may DNF this series

Ok so she’s already decided she loves him.. I’m not sure why. I still feel like I don’t know these characters much. But I’m glad there more action and magic now!

Struggling to get into this, I would have liked more time with just the FMC to get to know her, there is a lot of assumed knowledge about character that makes them feel inaccessible to me, plus I thought this was enemies to lovers? The romance is coming a little too easily so I’m not believing fmc’s protests against mmc
