Reading at the request of my elementary school aged granddaughter.

I started this several weeks ago and then got side-tracked with a couple of audiobooks and a mystery. I'm picking up where I left off.

This is a re-read for me. I want to here Will Weaton's narration.

My list says I read this but I have no recollection of doing so, so here we go again.

I have been reading this between listening to other books on audible. I burned through her other series but this one is difficult for some reason. It's a 1 day read that's taking me a month of Sundays. I don't like to give up on an author I generally enjoy.

I'm not into this right now. Maybe another time.

Lol. I started listening this afternoon and promptly fell asleep. Not from boredom but because I was tired. I have to start over because by the time I woke up, I was completely lost.

This book is what started my love of sci-fi. I read it when I was 12, I read it to my daughter when she was a pre-teen, and now I'm listening on audible with my almost 9 year old granddaughter. Thank you Robert A Heinlein.

It's been a very busy time, but I'm making progress. Really fun reading.

Just 2 references to Star Trek, so far, but a very interesting read , none the less.

Starting over

It has been so long since I picked up this book that I'm going to have to start over.

I started this book a few days ago and thought I should add it to my currently reading list.

I'm at 16%. While I'm really enjoying this book, I'm having a hard time finding the time to read. I can't seem to read in 20 min blocks of time although it looks like this is what will have to happen if I ever want to finish any book again.What happened to the days when I could sit and read for hours at a time and still get everything done???

I was hoping this would be a little boring so I could skim. I'm not finding that to be the case.I suppose I'll have to read every word. Sigh...It's so long they printed it on onion paper.

I'm 3 books ahead on my reading challenge so maybe this is a good time to start a tome.

Ok. I'll give another free kindle book a try. So far, I've gotten what I've paid for.

Decided to take a break from Star Trek and re-read this one. I'm not sure I ever finished it. At any rate it's been years and I'm enjoying it now.

Busy season. Not much time for reading these days. As soon as I sit down with a book, my eyes shut of their own volition.

Geez! I've lost my reading mojo. Why does that happen? Maybe it's the extra busy Holiday season I seem to be experiencing this year.

The reviews aren't promising, but I'll give it a go. I grew up on 50's and 60's sci fi and I'll probably love it.

Tried listening to this on audible and couldn't stand the narrator, so even though I was much farther along on audible, I started reading this again. Now I have my own voices for the characters in my head. Much better.

Getting ready for the Las Vegas Star Trek Convention. Better pick it up.

Don't know why I'm so slow with these. I can usually get through a book a week-give or take.

*spoiler* Reminds me of Game of Thrones on a less epic scale. Killing off the favorites.

Keep falling asleep. So tired. Hard to read through my eyelids.
