It took me a bit to really get into this book, as I generally have no interest in fantasy novels, but the meat *wink* of the story is well worth the wait. Now I can’t put it down. I know I will read a hundred pages before I’m done today and I will probably finish it tomorrow. My boyfriend hasn’t seen my face in two days. It has been replaced by hot pink font over a three-faced nun holding a honeycomb.

Existentialism makes me purr. Some gorgeously written passages that truly encapsulate my own experience of being, as Vonnegut said, “unstuck in time,” and have me thinking about forgiveness as an Existentialist value.

Gorgeous. Lyrical. Heartbreaking. Hopeful. This book has shaken me and wakened me unlike any other in some time.
