I need to give this woman a private moment. I feel like I’m intruding on something deeply intimate

Wait why is this the cutest thing I’ve ever read?? Vivi is helping Lan find her passion for writing after her father passed and Lan is helping Vivi (re)connect more with her culture 🥹. Yall Im bawling my eyes out

The slowest burn known to man, omfg. To the point of disinterest. Not to give too much away, but the trope itself is very unique and I haven’t heard or read anything like it. But the romantic tension is moving at a snails pace, only NOW are these two girls even pondering each other beyond platonic friends.

A much overdue read! The preface alone already has my jaw on the floor. I wish I had picked this up in undergrad, I think the terminology would have come to be much easier but alas. The preface alone is argumentatively rich, establishing the theoretical and historical framework as to whats to come. It’s incredibly historically and legally dense, naturally. But I’m excited nonetheless!
