I have some issues with Skip. 1. He has sex with another woman and then literally RIGHT after says he’s going to get in Ally’s pants. Gross behavior. Just is. I hope in this book series I get a little smutty action with Zeke and Lexie. I fucking love zeke. He’s amazing, he’s protective, funny, grumpy and I’m in love with the soft spot he has for Lexie. It makes my heart quake. Miles is absolutely adorable. I fucking love him too.

Near a part of the book where she magics her clothes away when she’s with Nolan and he freaks tf out. Obviously, you can’t not understand Nolan’s side, the freak out, the everything. BUT I don’t agree with her apologizing and letting it be that. He needs to apologize too. HE initiated the touching, he was MORE this feeding. Not her, HIM. And it sounds like she’s going to apologize and he won’t.

My god. I’m crying with laughter. Elle… you genius. I appreciate a book that just makes me laugh and say “what the fuck”. Like whip and the blow job lesson. Thank you author! 😂😂 I needed that!

I’m obsessed with this book, though I’m close to finishing it, I’m absolutely… enthralled. It hints at mysterious disappearances, hidden traps in this world’s politics, deep hatred and betrayal of the Eld, heart WRENCHING loss of a beloved. From the second chapter I’d been FORCED to continue reading. I recommend to EVERYONE! I’ll be sure to update my assessment after I’ve finished reading. 🥰🫀
