The book has provided more behind-the-scenes insight into how Harper turned the Conservative Party into a hierarchical, military machine that was able to withstand the pressures of maintaining a functioning minority government. It also shows how Harper effectively and ineffectively used wedge politics to maintain control of the electorate.

This is still a very interesting read, and it has many themes that can be applied to contemporary society! I'm quite enjoying Dune, and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in sci-fi.

It's still a good read so far! I'm learning a significant amount about leadership during the Harper administration. There is a significant amount to be understood about what went well, along with what could have gone better. Martin uses an engaging style of writing to simplify complicated topics and make them interesting for a regular reader!

Excellent insight into the world of Harper's government, along with his philosophy of leadership.
