Reading check for January 22 - Something that i predict will happen in the future of the book is that all of the girls boyfriends will get mad at them because of the "boycott" and that they will figure out what they are doing and they to expose them.

Reading check for February 7th - One literary element that I noticed in my reading today was conflict. The central conflict was where the girls initiate a "boycott" to protest their boyfriend's obsession with a sports rivalry. This conflict keeps readers engaged while also prompting issues of communication and equality in relationships.The effect that the conflict makes is making the book more exciting and meaningful

Reading check for January 28 - Something that surprised me the most in my reading was when the main character, Lissa, kissed the most popular guy in her school and she lied to him that he broke up with her current boyfriend.

one literary element that I found in my reading today was imagery because the main Charecter was describing what the room looked like.

In my reading today, one appeal that I found was pathos. The pathos in my book was effective because they were acting sad when Lissa and her friend's boyfriends were ignoring them because of some fight with other people. it was effective because of the wording they used to make it seem sad and have emotion.

A question that my book prompted me to ask is what inspired the author to write about this topic because the book is about cyber bullying. I want to ask if she experienced this in her life or if someone else experienced it in her life, or if she just enjoys writing about cyber bullying.

The best part of my reading today was when Lissa's dad was eating a big jug of chocolate swirl ice cream because I thought it was funny.

nothing surprised me yet in my book because I haven't read many pages.

I am on page 15. The kind of reaserch that i think the author had to write to do write this book is about bullying. If I ever had the oppertunity to meet them, I would ask them what inspired them to write the book.
