Plot is intriguing but inconsistent with some details. The voice was slightly confusing due to the authors use of certain words (eg crisps, trunk) that didn't fit the location. The author seems to put a lot of effort into making this story suspenseful, so much so it feels forced. Will continue to prove my theory.

Slow start but I like the writing. Timeline and pacing could be more cohesive or more clearly addressed. The duel pov also jumps prospective which is jarring.

I'm unsure how I feel about this book so far. The writing is ok but it feels very predictable and the characters are yet to pull me into their world. I think I'm still reading to find out if I am correct about the direction of the plot

Good plot; terrible writing. Another SJM author.. maybe you guys should trying writing screenplays instead
