And so another re-read of an old favourite begins...

This series is weirdly.... growing on me???

When you kind of hated the first book, but you need to know how it plays out. 🥲🥲

Oh lawdy, so much happening. 😱 Why do I get the feeling it'll end with me sobbing and with a broken heart? LOL.

It's been 2 weeks and I still haven't finished. 😫😫 Admittedly, I've been putting it off because of how utterly slow it is... hope it gets better. 🙃

ALRIGHT, HERE WE GO.

The first time I read this series was when I was 12-ish, so not sure what to expect the second time around. The writing is kind of below average so far, and I'm keeping an eye out for what the controversy around the series is about, but I just remember enjoying how adventurous these books were as a kid.

Talk about being naive....

Ugh 1 more month and I can return to my bookish habits. This year has been a reader's nightmare.

Is it just me or has modern poetry become one unremarkable sentence broken up into 5 or 6 annoying short lines in an attempt to deliver "symbolic impact"? They all have similar themes and blend into one indistinguishable blob when I read them. I dunno, I just don't get it. :///

I'm impressed with how this is going, so far!

I gotta say, I'm feeling largely underwhelmed by this so far.

God, tween-me clearly didn't understand what a good book constitutes as. I mean, look at all those disgustingly high ratings for crappy books! Self-loathing, ACTIVATED.

Feeling down because I'm probably not gonna have time to read until end of sem. RIP my reading challenge. 😭😭😭😭

I am 101% sure that I will NOT be disappointed by this. At all.
