I liked chapter 4 , because as a kid. Demon finally went out of his small town and had a shock. He was initially surprised that in the city, you can not just leave and do whatever, and apartments? Just made me think that what’s normal to someone else is a complete different world experience for another.

She showed love in her actions towards a woman, not a man

Hit by the man she loves , but she forgave him because a man has never ever apologized to her. In a sense , she had self worth, but she didnt. Because I feel if she did, she would have walked away, but she didn’t. The minute she forgave him, is another piece of self worth or love that left the equation. Atleast I think so,

Ernie was her first husband at 14, wow. He was her escape from the torture her father had her in. He was her way out. But did she just endure a different type of torture in the Hollywood life ? Drugs ? DV?

She had to put herself first, and that was at the cost of other feelings, but I feel she costed her self some feelings and she lost herself a little bit

Evelyn has an issue with the telling the truth , she said she was protecting everyone else.

I am curious about her husbands , I feel she is a woman do knowledge , and wisdoms . More so Wisdom.

I am gathering selfishness is good, but does it mean forget about morals ? Or is there an equal balance ? When do you decide selfishness vs morals
