Never would’ve found this if it weren’t for my A to Z challenge. It’s free on Audible, so my hopes aren’t too high…

It is very strange how big an emphasis the characters are placing on secrecy for a discovery that does not seem to warrant it.

I listened to this on Overdrive and there was a wired skipping around (forward, then back in time) that didn’t make sense in part 11 of 13.

Jarring mistake just a few minutes in - “disparity” used instead of “despair”

Finished chapter 4. Having his executive assistant come into his bedroom while a hookup is there is super NOT OK. The fact that he has clearly used her many times to help get rid of women in the morning is gross.

What made me mad enough to write an update was this: H said to Dax (h's brother) that part of the reason he'll treat the h well is that he respects Dax. ALL WOMEN HAVE VALUE AND DESERVE RESPECT.

Uhhh... that ending was very abrupt. None of their issues were really resolved. I could see where things were going, but still... maybe something was wrong with the audiobook I borrowed from Hoopla...

I’ve definitely never heard of a “shank” of hair (used to describe a section of hair falling across someone’s face when they move)

I’m finding the character Emma to be an intolerable meddler
