I keep thinking the other shoe is about to drop. I’m oddly skeptical of how well this relationship between Canon and Neevah is. Yes they do fall into the forbidden love trope and I’m sure they will get exposed but please lord let Neevah get her happy ending. I hope her health scare is merely a scare and nothing life-threatening to jeopardize her relationship and career🥹

My goodness🥹for the first 9 chapters, this book has me constantly on the verge of tears, yet, I’m also finding moments to laugh. Hendricks is absolutely out of pocket for talking about how delicious Josiah looks— Yasmen needs to keep a close eye on her fr😅. But honestly, I find their trio to be really endearing.
