I was really enjoying this but it’s building up to the inevitable third act breakup and I just… don’t know if I’m feeling the vibes for that lately. 🫠

Listening to the audio book and so far it’s pretty funny

I do not think this author has heard of contractions, or if they have they do not use them.

The vibes are not matching the description with this one, especially not the enemies-to-lovers slow burn. It’s more like reluctant allies who immediately want to fuck. 🫠 not feeling it

Maybe it’s because we’re getting so many POVs now or because Auren and Slade are still separated but I’m finding this one to be more of a slog to get through…

Definitely did not realize how much I’d love a good vengeance rampage but damn it’s satisfying.

Interesting story so far, but the writing feels a bit like reading fanfiction.

Bought this for shits and giggles and Jacob Morgan’s narration while it was on sale on Audible. Unlike anything I’ve read or listened to so far but a fun listen with some great lines that made me cackle with laughter.

The banter here feels so forced and the way the dialogue is written is hard to follow. Not feeling it.

Stopped this one a while ago because the vibe was very different from the first book and I wasn’t feeling it.

I’m reading along with the audiobook and so far I am LOVING this. Beautifully descriptive and emotional and I have already cried.

I got maybe two pages in and stopped. I couldn’t get into it with the writing style. Maybe I’ll try again sometime but for now, DNF.

I’m not sure enjoying is the right word. Seeing events from multiple perspectives has definitely been interesting, but I don’t think I’m enjoying the pacing in the second half of the book so far.
Might step back from this one and try again later on.
