!!!! Pretty good so far

Love reading about medicine which is a bit nerdy but this book is great. It’s got interesting stories about technology and all sorts. Bit foreign to me cos all the hospitals I’ve been to still rock pen and paper notes 🤪

Imma keep it a buck I’m never paying for a book again (on kindle)

Not sure if it’s stylistic choice or if my pirated copy has messed up the formatting of the book (very possible) but the stream of consciousness narration fits very well with the spiral of Dr Basch through his intern year.

Still a more erotic book than I expected including an orgy in the on call room at the hospital 🧐🧐

But a decent satire so far and probably a decent critique of the residency system

@bianca 20 percent in and I can already feel my passion for medicine getting stronger. Just want to be a tern and grow up into a caring compassionate doctor like the Fat Man.

Only regret is not applying for BMS and residency at the house of god

Story is good and excited to be finally finishing the Reacher books I haven’t read yet. Only issue is my pirated copy of the book has some grammatical issues here and there oops.

Book is going well so far. NEED REOCMMENDATIONS for books that make you think though. These are easy reads and feel a bit like cheating

In Iraq vendors in the markets leave piles of books out overnight rather than lock them away because “the thief does not read, and the reader does not steal”.

It is with a heavy heart that I announce I am the exception to this proverb as I have pirated this book and downloaded it to my kindle. (I forgot my library login to rent the kindle version)

About to finish it!! Hit 80% of the way thru and the big plot reveal was already over… smh too early!!

Yet another crime solving novel from Baldacci on the go but they are just so easy to read (and the kindle hasn’t got wifi here on Christmas Island) but after this I’m at a real loss for what to read.

Please give some suggestions e.g. Jodi Picoult books - there’s some on the shelf here are they any good? T.I.A

Not sure how I have ended up reading the series backwards but it is yet another good read. Need to do some recon on books to buy for the kindle after this & for Christmas Island. Please recommend

Quite good so far actually not sure if it was written around the time it was set - I suspect not - so very good read. Not a chore at all
