Wasn’t too sure about this going in because normally westerns aren’t my thing but this has me hooked

I’ve been meaning to read this brick of a book for awhile, time to be in cowboy mode got however long this takes me 🤠

The first 50 pages were great but it has just absolutely fallen apart :/

Like a more fucked up Frankenstein so far

Pretty good but also a slog

The symbolism and writing in this is amazing but jesus christ there are some long drawn out and incredibly mind numbing passages

This is dense damn

Very close to finishing but part of me wants to drag this out because I know things are about to get sad

still very very good

I love this

This will either be my last read of 2025 or first of 2026 depending on how fast I can get through it

Had such high hopes for this but so far it just isn’t doing it for me :/

We should go back to the days of writers saying the simplest of things in the longest and most roundabout way possible

Not gonna lie, a small part of me thinks a very dumb ill-prepared Alaskan pilgrimage like this kid did sounds fun

Book number 50 of the year. Only picked this one because I can knock this out fast
