Haven’t read a Vonnegut in a while

God bless the EMS gods for allowing me to read almost 150 pages of this at work today 🙏

Started off great, got pretty boring around the halfway point but has gotten very good again

First half, amazing. Second half, mind numbing so far

Guess good humor did exist in 1600

One of my goals this year was to read longer books so here’s my choice for the next few weeks

I was unsure about this during the first part but part two was genuinely one of the best things I’ve read in a long time

Found this at a book store in Atlanta, sounded cool

Usually don’t watch the movie before I read the book but here we are. I missed out on reading this when everyone in middle school was hyping it up, time to change that

Did not go the way or direction I thought it would. To be fair it was going to be very hard to match the level of Lonesome Dove

Not as good as Lonesome Dove but still pretty good

Liked Lonesome Dove so much I might as well read the other books in the series. He did skip 15 years between books and glance over in two sentences, the death of a character he spent 900 pages of the last book building up but we’ll see

Still not sure how I feel about this but I also think any book was going to have a hard time following something as great at Lonesome Dove

Hate the main character but let’s see where this goes
