Been waiting to read this for a long time, and I’ve finally gotten to dive into it.
Really hard read. Got to page 142 in one sitting, so I guess it’s not that hard. But reading these families’ experiences trying to fight off “homelessness” makes me incensed at the system that claims to help the working class. Been stewing on this fact internally since I was a teenager. This book only gives my thoughts fuel.
