I'm not sure I can really summarize what happened in the book, but Louise is having out of body experiences and can travel and see things in real life. I don't like the unreliable narration. I like that it keeps me on my toes and my interest piqued. My question is why you think Adele is going to be dead. Who is going to kill her?

This book is very interesting for sure. It definitely is starting to get more interesting. I think Adele is so much smarter than people think she is, and David should know she’s more manipulative than she is. How do you think Adele knows everything she knows.

It is meeting my standards, but I have never really read a mystery thriller before, so I don't know how I am supposed to feel. But it keeps me on my toes. I honestly don't know how to predict this book it is quite odd. Like you can tell something is going to happen, but it could be anything. I think it is a phycological thriller so far. What they think about Adele.

I want to read a fascinating book that I enjoy. So far, I think it is quite interesting. Again, this is not a typical book that I would read, yet it is definitely interesting to me. As far as predictions, I have no idea. I think the whole book is kind of weird, but things keep getting added that make it more confusing. The writing is interesting because in the "Then" sections, it is from the narrator's perspective.

Overall, I think this book has inherent value, though I do feel it should be censored. I think that people under the age of around 15 are not going to get any value out of the book because of the challenging reading style. I could see it being acceptable in an AP classroom as that is typically your upperclassman taking that class. It's no more gory or violent then TV shows and movies these days, it is a horror book.

I still think the book is difficult to read. While some parts are interesting, others I don't find as interesting, or relevant. It is definitely a hard topic to read about, and there are some unnecessarily sexually explicit scenes, so I can see why it would be banned. On the other hand, for high school ages 16+, I could see this is the library. Younger people may be able to understand, but even I have difficulty.

I think the content of the book is valuable and allows you to see what slavery really felt like, and the lasting effects that it had even after people had been freed. Toni Morrison has most of her books banned due to explicit content, though there is nothing I have read thus far that would deem it inappropriate for a highschooler student. It details history, and we must learn from it.

I like the book so far, but it can definitely be hard to follow as it jumps through perspectives with little to no warning. It is definitely exciting to read and get a new perspective. The book was banned due to its sexually explicit nature, lack of historical context, and being too intense for teenage readers. Nothing I would say gives a reason for banning. Why do you think Denver is the way she is?

I really liked the book overall and would recommend it to those who enjoy fantasy with a little bit of romance. I didn't always like the way Feyre chose to do things, or feel about certain things, but that is a part of reading, I suppose.
