Forgot to say i was confused how the prophecy can be interpreted differently that Isla having to kill either Grim or Oro (as it said)

How did Cronan get to the Forgotten Forest if you have to be invited there by the forest? Also how does Isla have the ability to show the past now? Just bc she “learned” it from Cronan? Is it a Nightshade ability? Also haven’t wanted to put the book down since last i left off, the whole Grim losing his memories and their inevitability and reliving the same story (sorta) is a cool concept i will say that

So i guess Grim can use his powers because he has Cronan’s skyre etched on him, and Cronan kept Isla’s memories to try and find the silver pool? Why couldn’t he just wipe selective memories like he did with Grim though?

Why didn’t Cronan just wipe Isla’s memories to get her to be on his side and help him? He did it to Grim

Question answered: Apparently Grim can use his powers on Skyshade either because of his bloodline to Cronan (and Cronan “is woven into its very fabric” of Skyshade??) or because Cronan is not blocking them?

Why can Grim use his powers on Skyshade but Isla can’t unless theirs a “storm” (since when can she use her powers if theres a storm?!)

And since when were the storms called to power?

1) Since when is the feather Lark’s? Also so now Isla can use Cronan’s mind powers against him? Why didn’t she just do that before?!

2) if Cronan can just wipe people’s minds, why didnt he just do that to Isla when he said he wanted her alive still?

I hope we find out who this “silver haired women) with the silver pool in Isla’s mind is.

Also the plot twist of Grim loosing his memories of Isla is crazy

I definitely put this comment already and it didn’t post but the quote on page 150- “ I wish I could fall through time and know you” is fantastic, i haven’t forgotten it since i read it

Isla can just choose to separate the love bond?? It seems counterintuitive to the whole point of it in the book…?

Part 2) Also the creatures that became a woman in Skyshade, Isla says, “they weren’t always like this” WHO ARE THESE CREATURES? It’s never said!!!!!!! Is it supposed to be inferred the creature/beast is a Wildling because they are in a forest and the creature is wearing “tattered green fabric” maybe there will be an explanation later on in the book but im not counting on it…

Part 1) I swear the author wrote each page completely forgetting the last…ex) in the memory Terra finds Isla’s collection of her mother’s things: paintbrush, comb, a doll. It says “she turned the wood and bone to ash” i reread it many times, the doll was made of wood, but WHAT bone?? I hate that stuff where it makes no sense.

Whatever explaination the “lost king” gave was confusing af

“Her abilities awoke, one by one, and it felt better than the sip of water in the desert. It felt like sinking into a cold pool. It felt like she could finally fully breathe, She groaned, stretching out her fingers. She could feel her blood igniting, her strength returning.” This makes no sense! Also so one portal on Wild Isle can make people stronger and the other on Nightshade can make people weaker?Am i wrong?

I forgot to mention and i thought this since book #2 Nightbane… why is the map inside the book only Lightlark? It made sense for the first book but then the majority of the next two books are on Nightshade but there is no map…
