View motherhood as a privilege.

The choice to be childfree comes with consequences: "conversations change, gatherings start to revolve around children, and activities that were once shared are replaced by family commitments. Without realizing it, a social abyss begins to form, leaving these women on the margins of circles that were once central to their lives" (Carol Gilligan).

Society is slowly becoming more accepting of women who choose to not pursue motherhood.
