it sure is convenient that your main character loves to write down everything that's ever happened in physical, reviewable diaries. what's the sequel, a filmmaker who records everything? I'm already rolling my eyes at the ending I suspect.

wow, already REALLY happy with the writing. took me a long time to start this one, too. don't judge a book by its cover! this was not a particularly enticing one ;)

already a little disappointed... i knew about the first thing the book talks about 😕 (the reason for motion sickness) but he left out half the interesting bit: not only do we get it when inner ear is moving but eyes think we're still (plane/car travel), but when eyes say we're moving but inner ear says we're still (imax/ VR helmet). just seems like a simple, cool detail to have included on this actual topic

i don't know if I'm not paying enough attention or if things actually arent being explained. ive run into a lot of things that surprised me that felt like i should have already known. "oh, that's who that character is. oh, that's what happened there." etc. developing romance feels VERRRYYY forced, cliche, and convenient.

getting a little slow, but interesting! i like it, i just want more to happen.

a little soap-boxy... the back and forth past-present flip has never been something ive enjoyed either. constantly going back to chapter pages to clarify when in time I'm reading.
