I can see the jealousy and eventual betrayal brewing. Oh my. This revenge saga will be glorious.

Ok now I think Ted is involved and is purposefully making her look crazy to Caroline so that they can fire her, or he can make Caroline feel guilty ab hiring her. Men are evil!!

I don’t trust Adrian, he believes in Mallory way too quickly. Maybe he’s the one plotting?

I feel like the MC is an unreliable narrator. We already know she’s a liar. We don’t know if her memory about that gaze experience is real or not, so the conversations Teddy is supposedly having, and the newer advanced drawings could also just be the effects of her addiction. Perhaps this mystery is her new addiction developing. Or the Maxwells are fucking with her lol. We will see.

this is a fun spooky read so far. i’m really enjoying the build up and the little bits and pieces that are being dropped for the bigger mystery.

i’m really bored tbh. pushing myself to finish this book. how are we 200 pages in and the two main detectives absolutely suck at investigating. the questioning the suspects and finger print gathering is sooo sloppy and amateur, you’d think these were juvenile detectives

it’s still pretty slow. i’ve gotten very bored. how are we halfway and there’s no good action yet? ugh

it’s getting a lil slow but i like where it’s going. definitely still intrigued
