I think this is when Stephen hit the drugs. Honestly though, I’m into more than ever now, but geez you read and read and think “yea, that was a good chunk!” and it was 1% progress 😭

I’m not the biggest fan of when a book tells the story through “re-tellings” or “flashbacks”. Feels like it takes a lot of the pressure off because we know Tess survives. Other than that, I can’t say I’m not interested to know why this is all happening

At this point, I’m just reading to find out what happens. I can definitely see how this book is good, I just have a hard time stepping into this world, simply because a lot of the terms and ideas (fantasy in general) is new to me. I really don’t remember who’s who (except for the main main characters) but at least I kinda know what’s going on lol

So, as you can see.. I have read 27% in two days WHERE IT TOOK ME OVER A MONTH TO READ MY FRIENDS. WHAT DOES THAT SAY

Only through 11 Chapters and it’s a bit hard to get into (probably because I’ve come from IT, 2 very different writing styles) and I’m finding the writing to be a bit cringy but now I’ve decided to picture everything like it’s in the style of a Studio Ghibli movie and it’s making it a lot better

I’m enjoying how easy it is to follow what is happening. The author knows how to make it easy to read while not making it overly simple

When will this filler episode of “Lack of Sex and too much City” end!?

Sometimes she talks about someone or something for so long that I forget who or what she is talking about.
Most of this book feels like some sort of artsy movie where the author wished all these things happened to her.
Is it really possible for someone this young to have done all these things?? I don’t know, it’s just starting to feel extremely unrealistic. But then again, maybe some people are like that.

Do people in New York actually talk like this?
