I’m having so many problems with this book.

The 17 year unrequited crush is crazy as a premise. But sure. They finally get together and she’s immediately pushing for sex, even though he was clear that he needed some time to feel ready for that. Then she pushes for all his life trauma so they can get to the sex. Just too pushy.

I’m thinking DNF. The spice scenes are so jarring against characters that otherwise are very juvenile. Even if he’s experienced, she’s wildly confident and never nervous. There’s no bumbling or discomfort. Just instant adult film 100% of the time. Which is also a fine trait in a book, but let’s stop trying to make it experienced-virgin.
