Deep in a reading slump so don’t judge my progress reports…

Completely retract any negative thing I thought previously. The first trial did make me worry it was too hunger games but it’s difficult for writes to include a fight to the death trial without a comparison being made. The relationships being built, the revolution, the upcoming betrayals. Less than 100 pages left and I don’t want it to end

The first trial has just started and I hate to say it but it’s too much like hunger games right now. I love the characters but I don’t want to be disappointed by it not being original.

Kai and Pae are giving exactly what they need to give right now. I also really enjoyed the interaction with Kitt and Paedyn. I wasn’t overly invested in the friendship she had with A so I’m hoping we see more of that so I could understand why she feels so close to her.

I’ve been told this gives hunger games but so far all it’s giving is sexy Prince and poor girl
