So Kamran has finally realised Alizeh didn’t betray him, idk why it took him so long to figure it out as I fear it was obvious. Kamran lowk pjsses me off so I’m glad Cyrus is the ml even tho there’s barely been any romance between the two yet.

5 chapters down, it’s 6am and idk why I’m awake but thought might as well read a little since I can’t sleep, not sure how much of this I actually absorbed.

YOOOO 67% through ;). Icl this book is so much better than the first one, like it’s really picked up and I’m starting to enjoy it because I literally read like 200 pages today on my kindle hehe. I’d say it started to pick up after chapter 9 and I’m currently on chapter 21, 10 more to go.

Alright the ending of chapter 10 was definitely a bit shocking…

Icl there’s only two more chapters left and they still haven’t gotten together so I’ve got no clue what’s gonna happen

Wow so much more has happened. She got like super drunk and basically complimented him and he basically confessed about how he pays attention to her because she’s the only one worth his attention and I was like AHHHHHHH

Okay they had their first kiss in a way I definitely didn’t expect, so far nothing like super developing to their relationship or ‘rivalry’ has happened but i know the second half of the book will definitely have a lot of romantic moments.

Finally hit the first romantic scene which was cute but a bit of a cliche. This is meant to be academic rivals so like enemies to lovers but for some reason I have a gut feeling the guy has like always liked her based on his actions in the last few chapters but maybe I’m just overthinking it. Anyways, too tired to continue reading so that’s all for today and maybe the next few days/weeks 🌝

I am really enjoying this book, it’s lighthearted and not too complicated. Definitely refreshing to read after King of Wrath which scared me. Even though I haven’t read much, I can tell I will enjoy this book.

Okay so I’m on the third chapter now, I read it on whilst running errands which is why I didn’t get through much but so far it’s pretty decent. Light hearted and NOT SO GRAPHIC (like some books…) which is what I was looking for so that’s good. Will read some more tomorrow on my bus journey to UC appointment.

Okay it’s gotten pretty good but it’s too late so that’s all my reading for today.

It’s getting a bit more interesting but I’m too tired to continue reading so maybe tomorrow x

Maybe I’m too negative but I haven’t understood the hype of this book yet. Second half better be good because I paid for the three books and everyone’s gassing this series up so…

Okay there’s less big words now or maybe I’ve gotten smarter but it’s a lot easier to understand. Finished chapter 20, not even halfway through the book and I started it three days ago 😭

Okay, still big words but able to understand it much better. Perhaps I was too tired yesterday so the words were really not making sense (still doesn’t but more than before). It’s definitely getting more interesting, the first 5 chapters were a tad bit boring but chapter 6 - 15 seems pretty good. Idk why it takes me so long to read this book compared to others, is it the big words or is it a long book?
