Update, they call the split of the world into 3 the Rending. Some other stuff kinda confuses me, but the Concurence has won on Obiteum, and Caeror believes they’ve won everywhere and I don’t understand how. Talked about a Cataclysm. Happened 300 years ago and killed almost everyone. But there’s been 11 cataclysms and the ruins are for protection from the cataclysym.

I mean the start of this book has been hype. Caeror is alive and has been in Obiteum, Res is the original place, and we haven’t learned about Luceum. The war started thousands of years ago against an enemy called the Concurrence. They were hell bent on enslaving people and they almost won. Our side split the world into 3 near identical copies and we don’t know how. CRAZY

Vis completed the labrynth, got this power we don’t really know how it works, Emissa betrayed him, Callidus died :((( the anguis are killing the students, the man we saw disappear and reappear with Relucia showed up and now called Vis “kin” so I think vis will have that power. He’s gonna lose his arm. IDK WHATS HAPPENING

Been a minute. But we finished part 2. He’s in class 4, has more info on the ruins, Relucia crazy, Aequa thinking Vis was cheating was honestly a great thing, and now he’s back in Suus where he is STRUGGLING. I can’t wait till someone truly recognizes vis it has to happen. Hope he actually hears something good from the summit. Only like 200 pages left :)

I feel like I’m making so much progress, but I’m only like halfway. Made it to the academy, got into a fight with Idhen, clean horse stables for 2 months, moved from 7 to 6 in one day of class, likes amesia the 3rd, Igor doesn’t like him, and he’s stuck in 6 cause of the asshole professor. He got to look at the ruins tho and was almost caught. Still very good writing, it keeps me intrigued the whole way.

Chapter 20 or XX was bonkers. We met the anguis girl again at the festival, and this time she brought someone that Vis knows, Estevan who was his father’s most trusted advisor. They want him to become Dominotor. After their meeting, Estevan straight up murdered like 20k people in the arena. but the anguis got this power to just make people explode in a second. Other than that it’s really just been training

So the Anguis messed with the transvect. Shot us out the sky. Diago his real name. They want him as a prospect just like Ulciscor. He has met Verinius, the man he’s supposed to spy on. Really just world building and character development. I like Ulciscor’s right hand woman, Lanistia. The old 50 y/o idk yet cademoss maybe ? He seems shady or just non trusting.

Books still crazy. Jason and amanda escaped through the dark matter box. They somehow in a quantum space that allows theme to travel through different realities, the literal multiverse. They’ve gone to some rough realties, and learned they can control where they go. They accidentally went to like a plague ridden reality, and he’s now had to watch another Daniella die. My psyche would break.

Thomil back ! He Sciona’s assistant, they had some sweet moments, sciona be so smart yet so daft at the same time, she so clueless when it comes to the Kwen! But loving this story so far, Sciona, Thomil, and Brigham the homies. What happened to Carra ? Why does Thomil wanna know more about Bringham? Are cousin alba and aunt winny gon be in the story more? This could be better than sword of Kaigen

Duh Sciona the first woman highmage. She lifted that big ol cauldron, I think her sending it to the ceiling more impressive than levitating it. As of right now forget Archmage Duris he a lil prick, and I’m also curious about her parents, mainly her father

And Sciona !! I’m already hype for her. Seems like Tiran is a very advanced country/city and also misogynistic. Sciona tryna be the first woman high mage EVER. They only allow one woman every decade to take the test and today is her chance. Alba is her cousin and Aunt Winny takes care of her. Scionas mentor seems real cool, one of the 12 Archmages, Derrith Bringham.

Damn ! First 2 chapters got me hooked. First chapter we learned about the Calondae, they were also called “blighters” by 2 Tiran guards. Thomil, Carra, Aras, and Maeve were the only tru characters in the first chapter. Erebody died to blight besides thomil and carra, aras and Maeve’s 4 y/o daughter. Because thomil lied and said he was her father, they let them live. But idk how they gon fit in the story.

Haven’t updated this book much, but it’s good !! Had my first true jaw drop moment when Agamemnon killed his own daughter for sacrifice. Like wtf. And now the raids have been going on until it officially became war. I believe we’ve been fighting for 2 months now could be longer, and Achilles still like “why would I kill hector what has he done to me” but I feel the only way this ends if hector dies.

Aw Victra and Sevro finally has a boy, Ulysses :) shoutout to Victra for being a badass my lord. Such a good storyline Lyria since iron gold has been becoming one of my favorites, and it just keeps getting better !!!

Lysander and Alex succeeded and made it back to Darrow with the fear knight, Atlas. I haven’t made the correction, but for awhile I thought we killed Atlas when his men captured Darrow, but all his henchman just wear masks I thought it was a specific thing to him. However, Lysander still undercover, and the only people that know his real identity is Atlas and the person in charge of creating Darrow’s big weapon
