I haven’t been this absorbed in a comic since Invincible,or Ultimate Spider-Man. Reading invincible was more enticing because I was putting off my work and it was my senior year. Anyway, JMS has a superb understanding of the characters and wastes not a single word with them. I really love Peter and aunt mays relationship too, feels so authentic. It feels so real and full of love and care for each other.

This comic has been absolutely incredible. It came out swinging and wasting no time with Morlun, which perfectly showcased Peter’s strongest attributes and what he represents. The writing in those scenes were carefully written, easily immersing myself into the fight and clearly understanding the stakes and just how Peter felt in it. I love how dialogue heavy this comic is and jms‘s writing is perfect for it.

This book reads much easier than I thought it would. It’s easy to follow and the pacing so far is good, not too fast or too slow. I think the book does a great job at introducing the characters and showing their intentions quickly, and through straight forward dialogue. Going to put comics aside a little and focus more on the count of Monte kribby.

This book is so depressing and can be so hard to read. I hope I never develop a relationship like some of the ones in this book.
