Currently it’s alright he has a very strange descriptive way of discussing South Africa and also I feel like he’s neglected to truly understand South Africans right now but I’m slowly but surely enjoying the book

So far I found the book very interesting and very well written. It’s expanding my thoughts on disease and making me question what do we just simply disregard as normal and not question.

I actually really don’t like coffee and I am waiting for an actual story to come about it feels a bit bland and slow at the moment. Maybe I just can’t sympathise with the character enough but I feel like so far the story has been rushed or atleast what we know about the character so far has definitely been rushed

Im enjoying the book. So far it kind of feels like you’re reading someone’s diary almost with the way it’s been narrated it’s definitely from the child’s perspective there’s a lot of descriptions about each character and what they’re like so I think the beginning is quite slow but it seems to be picking up.
