I absolutely love how much the random citizen are involved in the story. It remind me of got like there is so much impact of city folks in plot. And same goes here the wizards waiting for dragon on roof then ppl selling anti dragon clothes and all lol. It's just so soo good.

Dalinar was a fkin beast in his prime like literally bloodthirsty, horrifying beasts. there is such hell of a character development he had gone through, it would be really interesting to see how he become what he is today.

Shallan chapters have been hit and miss in this book so far.
also like i always ask WHERE TF IS SZETH'S CHAPTERS??????

kaladin is literally one of the best character in fiction

amazing start. i was expecting prologue to be from dalinar's pov but it was from eshonai which was strange knowing that 4th book will have listeners backstory. still am excited for his flashbacks in this book. this book will be heavily focused on dalinar which i was waiting from start. so lets see...
also loved the kal returning to his hometown scene though, he was literally showing off his radiants skills lmaoo.

i should have read other cosmere books like warbreaker and elantris cause there are so many cosmere reference here and there even the characters from other planates too.

starting has been better then my expectations so far. maybe its because i just love the atmosphere of scadrial sooo freaking much, and the whole worldbuilding like politics, kandra, kollos and era 1 reference it all just felt so much like home. also starting the book with wayne was so sweet. also i didnt really expect a this big timeskip. all of characters are so old atp :it makes me sad :((

but now am hooked in the story the starting grand master chapter didnt click with me but later that carrot thing and then summning dragon was so good. also we get to see death OMG i didnt expect that. that scene was so sweet ig??
am excited to continue it now

Rand and Mat’s chapters have such intense almost paranoid thriller feel to them. And i love how detailed Robert Jordan has crafted this world every location, every village, every interaction feels real and alive.

And they’ve reached Caemlyn, so it will be interesting to see where this book will end since only 30% is left now.

i fkin hated Children of the Light from their first appearance.
also there is been really good character dovelopment for parrin in recent chapters.

the story is been pretty slow since they have been separated still its interesting to see different characters povs. Perin and Nynaeve chaps are surprisingly good.

why everyone hates each other like rand and grp seem pretty misogynastic not gonna lie. and not one trusts anyone. things would have been so much easier if they did listened to each other.

i really thought it will be slow and very flowery over explaining type of story as people claim but its been pretty engaging so far. am enjoying it so much slowly, morrein seem pretty good character and so does rand, the bits of lore drops are pretty interesting too. cant wait to spend next one year and in this world with 13 books.
