This is so good so far. I’m a huge Addie LaRue fan and this is in the same world with the same sort of language and feel. I am loving it. Toxic Lesbian Vampires.

The FMC narrators voice lifts at the end every time she asks a question. Like a New England/north eastern American accent. It’s distracting.

Just waiting for this extremely obvious twist to take place. But I am interested and happy to be reading something a little different in the Romantasy genre. Keeping in mind that this is her first Romantasy as well.

Hello unexpected tears

A little high drama between them (aside from the initial conflict) when they haven’t established a romantic connection yet.

How is her best friend such an asshole?

Why do you use a male narrator who sounds like he smokes a pack a day and is 50 years old for a college student? Especially when the female voice actor does such a great job with the MMC’s voice? Hers is way hotter. I’ve listened to other audios of hers with this male narrator before and he just grosses me out, however I do like the story.

Also she dogs on her parents a lot and it’s annoying.

Not great- writing not very good, FMC compares her crush to her ex too often. I’m not into the story. Not much showing, rather than telling maybe? Repetitive.

This audio is not very good. Some of the cast members are just, bad. And they sound far away sometimes.

As far as the story, meh. I’m hoping it turns around. I want to like this book. But the pacing isn’t great.

This audio is weird. It’s read by a full cast and whenever one of the main characters is talking their voices sound softer, like they are far away.
