Giving me a lot to consider about the reactionary nature of consent, and how it predicates on the expectation of violence. Consent and our consent culture is a band aid put onto how our world is perceived and lived in today.

I've been to many a consent talk in a space where I felt like women being in this space were an afterthought despite being the ones it would technically protect.
