I am enjoying all the excerpts from nurses around the country and the things they are experiencing

Elsa has taken her kids lordeda and Anthony to California. She has been rejected from a few towns and ended up moving into a camp with a bunch of oakies, which are people traveling to California from other states like oaklahoma. She drove into town one day and got a job with an entitled family who is very rude to her. They met another family from albama with 4 kids, Jed and Jean who pick cotton. Said winter is hard

So far so good, Elsa cut her hair and was wearing a dress her family did not approve up, left home one night and met rafe, an Italian boy walking the street. They were lost together, made love, then he dropped her back off at her house. Her dad was waiting for her on the front steps and slapped her in the jaw. she had a hickey above her breast from rafe. Her mom took her dress and said they would never speak of it.

Pa and Kya had starting fishing and spending more time together after ma and Jodie had left. Pa eventually left after ma wrote a note home and he never went fishing again. So far we have learned about Kya’s family, her siblings much older than her. Pa seems to be a drunk who only gets angry. One of the kids in town chase Andrew’s got in trouble for riding his bike too fast on the sidewalk. He ended up being found dead near the fire tower however no footprints were at the scene.

Frankie ended up misscarrying baby and told harry she couldn’t marry him any more in the hospital. She saw rye at the beach with his wife and daughter and followed them home. He ended up seeing her and showed up on her door step. He asked her if she wanted to be with him, they ended up having an affair. Rye ended up having another baby a boy. She got depressed, DUI and almost killed some one, went to psych ward

France’s got fired from her job after performing a tracheostomy in a gun shot wound victim. She got really depressed and ended up moving with Ethel and barb to Ethel’s farm house. There they joined VVAW and she traveled protesting and met Henry A. They end up dating back in cali after her moms stroke. Her dad shows her he’s proud. She ends up pregnant with Henry’s baby.

Talking about how he had to learn on the go by doing it how to stay warm and dry and where to camp to not get struck by lightning. One time camped in the middle of an elk feeding trail and was worried was gonna get trampled over.

She became a night shift nurse at a local hospital, acting as a candy striper to start not doing much pt care. Frankie is now home after doing a second tour in Nam. She fell in love with a boy named Frankie who is coming home shortly after her. Her family and everyone else at home is not happy to see her or hear war stories, she has a hard time dealing with that. She was expecting people to love her like they would have loved her brother if he came home. Rye ends up being killed at war she finds out when meeting his dad

Frankie reupped her deployment for another year after supposed to be released on march 16th. She gets forced to go to R+R in kairo or something. An island get away, the nurse in charge tells her to sit on the beach and drink cocktails with mini umbrellas. She goes and sits on the beach, some guy walks up to her she passes. Then rye comes up, they end up having SI several times and he calls her his girl.

Jamie has died on his way to go see his wife and son in Hawaii. Frankie and him had shared several close moments prior, he even told Frankie he loved her before going. Ethel then left to go home. Frankie and barb got switched to the 71st which was under attack of mortars tiigjg when they got there. The

Frank has been promoted from night shift neuro, to day shift neuro, then to day shift OR. She works with Dr. Jamie. She finds out he is married and they have a kid together from the first time they had sex. They did a day trip to a local village where Frank and Dr smith amputated a girls wrist after getting a nasty infection.

Frankie decided to join the army after becoming a nurse at a catholic school in California to follow her brother. Problem is, her brother died after she signed up. Went to basic training, killed it. Now in Vietnam, introduced to people she will be working with. She met a doctor Jamie Callahan who is a surgeon at the hospital she is stationed at. Her dad told her to stay away from doctors like him.

So far so good. Frankie is from a military family in the 60s. Brother goes to fight in Vietnam. She goes to school to be a nurse and decides she wants to join the navy as a nurse to be with her brother and make her family proud. Only the army will take her for lack of experience.

Benjamin went with his friends on NYE, left around 1 to find 2 Spanish girls flirting in the parking lot. Took them to Roger Williams zoo, killed then as they were making out. Cole spent time in Juvy for fighting and not dealing with it. His brother let his wife and kids stay at his farm after finding Melandes body on her car.

Still good. Easy to read. He has killed the person the cops took as a suspect, was pulled over by police for driving with his headlights off. Said he was dropping his friend off after playing cards, cops didn’t think twice of it.

Easy read. Some grammar errors but the chapters are short and it’s easy to pick up and read once in a while.
