Ok I’m done with the learning part and now just going through all these hypotheticals of what he deems to be the right perspective

so far it’s an ok book. it’s pretty fast paced anda lot of unnecessary profanity in my opinion but what am I expecting with this genre. It’s a cute story and it reminds me of teenage romance. Only like 2/5 right now for me

I’m not the biggest fan of the disconnected stories but that’s literally what this book is. I find myself giggling to it a lot. A little cliche can’t lie

I love Michael Schur! The first half has been so digestible and I like the way he broke down and explained major philosophical concepts. The humor sprinkled in through the stories used to explain concepts or the footnotes makes this such an easy read!

loving the complex female lead. still have my suspicions about the husband but also now thinking Hugh might’ve been involved??? I love Ruth Ware and her ability to build suspense by revealing just enough info at a time

Love how the book is unfolding and how guilt is shown. Hannah is a pretty insecure character and it’s interesting to have her perspective. Love the little twists

ruth ware is the queen of complex characters. i’m also expanding my vocabulary which is fun! a big fan of the time jumps especially with the pacing of how the story is told.

still think the husband did it. main character DOES need therapy but not for the reason her mom thinks

Loving so far. The writing style is so well done and her characters are already pretty well developed. So interested to see how this unfolds

This book has been gut wrenching and nail biting. I feel so deeply in trenched in the storyline despite it following so many different paths in so many different settings. Unintentionally educational just with how detailed and multi-faceted this storyline is

Already heartbreaking. The imagery and raw emotion expressed as each family member is forced from home. Heart wrenching yet so refreshingly honest. Doesn’t glaze over any of the harsh realities of the time frame. Had to put this down a few times just because I could feel their pain

I like the switches between perspectives and how they are all in different places. A little hard to follow at first. The vocab is kinda hard too

A very easy read and difficult to put down. Love the scattered humor throughout

So far really good. The writing style is a little obvious with what the authors intention is for you to be thinking and feeling. Nice suspense though throughout the story.
