The book is getting more and more interesting. Natalie and Caleb are setting up an alibi together. Natalie keeps getting odd phone calls from a blocked number and Dawns gift to her keeps making its way back to the corner of her desk..

I got to part two today and I’m shocked. The boat not only had a knockdown but it fully capsized. The sailors set of their GPRIB distress signal, but the drama was it was set at the Lou Pantai, not for the Sean Seamour II. Then the EPRIB was linked to Cold Duck, somebody else’s boat. JP’s ribs got broken, everybody was thrown around.

In chapter 4-5 Mayke breaks my heart. Mayke is Jean Pierre (JP)’s wife. Not long after finding out about her painting, she almost blacks out into a vision of something bad happening to Sean Seamour II. Two low pressure systems started heading towards eachother causing a storm. In chapter 6, the boat has a chance to pitchpole. Ben says “This is worse than being held captive. We can’t fight back in anyway.”

I learned more about Jean Pierre’s (JP) life and how it led up to him being a sailor. We have already met and talked about Rudy, who is enthusiastic about the voyage and the new views of the sea.
