Alright since I’ve watched the movies first, it’s actually rlly fun to imagine the characters in my head. It’s a lot easier actually. I’m rlly excited to read about Minho and how he’s like cuz people say they cut a lot of this sassiness and screen time from the movie.

As of now I can see quite a lot of changes already, like Teresa being in a coma?? And Thomas having telepathy with her and shit man.

Eh it’s kinda boring, I think if I had read this when I was younger it wouldn’t have been a problem. But I find it that when I’m reading, I can tell it’s definitely written for a younger audience and there’s nothing wrong with that, just not for me!

Also how Gansey describe love to Adam was so beautiful.

He makes love seem like it’s just something that’s just unconditional and that’s honestly such a good analogy to make for love❤️

I find it so cute that Ronan tried to dream a balm for Blue’s eyes. It’s really nice to see the improvement in their relationship, although I wished Blue and Adam had more closure and weren’t butting heads every conversation. I liked the way Ronan casually kissed Adam like that tho. This just proves friends to lover is the best! It’s where you understand each other and THEN u grow to love each other.

Blue and Adam can’t have a conversation without fighting every DAMN TIME GOD. Their personality just clash in 2 millions different ways bro.

And also I can’t tell if Henry is genuinely a good guy or he’s a upcoming super villain

Bro Adam has it rough man with the constant haunting. That’s actually really freaking scary and not to mention, Cabeswater constantly getting attacked. Please give that place a break man

The way Gansey just commanded the bones to wake up is so damn badass man. I LOVE GANSEY

Another thing I enjoyed is that we can clearly see Adam’s character development. The way he accepted help from Gansey and find that he actually appreciated and wanted this friends there instead of only seeing Gansey as someone above him. He also admits that he was the one that had to accept that they were equals and not Gansey! AND when he took money from Blue for the map and was surprised to see his ego was intact

I’m so GLAD that Blue and Adam finally got a chance to talk cuz I thought I was gonna go insane if they didn’t talk any longer. Clearly they got into a fight and it just seemed like Blue wasn’t even apart of Adam’s life anymore which really annoyed me. Also the fact that he never apologized or had a proper talk with Blue since the last book. I think it fits his personality tho cuz of yk his ego.

Jesse is the best character in this whole series. My goat . The goat. 🐐

Please tell me Noah is NOT gonna die cuz I actually love him a lot. But he’s been way too creepy man and he keeps trying to hurt them. Please please let him be okay again🥲

I find it sweet that Ronan dreams about EpiPens and miraculous cures for Gansey. They’re probably my favorite duo in the whole series. They constantly have each other back and are so comfortable with each other, I never feel like there is awkwardness between them. This duo is the definition of brotherhood for me man I love them

I love how the characters just understand each other, like when Adam saw that Gansey was anxious and un composed so he looks away for just a moment to give Gansey a chance to recompose himself. Small moments like that are fleeting but they really show how these guys care for each other so much. It’s really the little things that matters the most and gives so much meaning and depth to the characters.

I’m stupid bro I just realized that the teacher name is freaking green mantle like that’s the bad guy man. This is what happens when I don’t continue the series for 2-3 weeks.

Anyways I can’t wait to see how gansey and blue’s relationship develop more throughout this book. Looking forward to finishing this series now that my test are over. I swear I’ll finally start revising my bio AFTER THIS SERIES!!!!!

Yippeeee she passed her exam. Right now everything feels very cute which makes wonder when everything will finally go to shit. Clearly this genre isn’t meant to be whimsy, rainbows and unicorns. Oh how I wish it was because it actually made me feel giddy. BUT considering the first chapter I know this is gonna be dark soon. Love Orla and Freynan’s relationship so far. Freynan’s name reminds me of Frieren🥹

And also this too “It was clear this was a problem that all of the Ganseys were intent on solving before Gansey returned to Henrietta with Adam.”

I hadn’t expect the Gansey family to all be actual decent people. Imagine my surprise when they all give it their all for Adam man, just because it was their son/brother’s friend. Adam is kinda going crazy right now and I’m glad Gansey is there for him. One more thing I love is this sentence in the book “no one had mentioned the inconvenience. And they never would. It was the Gansey way.”

The moment that Noah and Blue shared is so beautiful, honestly it was written in a way that made kissing feel so lovely, sentimental and yet so platonic. I love that they share the pain of not being able to kiss with one being dead and the other one potentially killing her partner in the process. It’s lovely and I find myself really liking the relationships that Noah has with everyone.

You can’t just say you pulled 2 monsters from your dream and one just ran away, what the hell man that’s crazy. And they’re just casually picking the team up to go burry a body LMAO. I love this book man they’re all crazy and unbothered. Love when blue and Gansey talk it’s funny and cute

I rlly like Ronan and Noah’s friendship. They’re so fun and always so goofy with each other it’s great. Ronan freaking threw him out the window lmao
