Okay I've only just started this but the writing is so... juvenile? The constant name dropping of video games and consoles feels so forced, not to mention the MMC game-ifying his life, it's honestly making my eyes roll. I'm struggling to see what to like about this book at all even as a gamer myself. I hope this gets better.
