This one is frustrating me. Even if it is the curse pushing at her, she was callous and unsupportive of Carter and now he could be dead. She cussed out Coldwell and said she hoped he would die, and then he did. She only said she’d help his kids because she didn’t want him becoming an evil spirit. I don’t like what her character is doing right now.

So freaking excited. I love books like this!!! Plague is one of my special interests. I hope it’s as good as the last plague book I read 💕

Harlow finding out that the ghost John Smith’s name is Jack makes me think that “Lost Witch took Jack” was about him, not Marguerite’s Jack or Harlow’s Jack. I do find it very interesting that “Jack” is such a repeated name for the Torrents.
