The plot line is a bit repetitive, the enemies to lovers situation is stretch too thin to the point of readers whiplash. Also, while trying to bring the reader up to speed with Kitt’s struggle, there isn’t a lot of information on his options or what is he plotting when Paedyn is brought to ‘justice’. Also, Kai accepted the end of the book very quickly and without so much of a fight
