you should nOT read this book in public

It has been a VERY long time since I picked up a book that makes me hyperventilate in worry and stress. A Little Life traumatized me, okay, but it did not make me cling to my Kindle the way I am right now. I might just not be reading enough books of this genre (and that's on me), but BOY am I going to have a hard time finishing this book with enough breaths to survive.

I almost DNFed this by Chapter 1 because I was unsure if I would enjoy or get through a comedy book, but it’s been a great read as far as I’m concerned.
