This is just The Hunting Party. And I know the consensus is that this one is better but I disagree.

Straight people being awful: The book.

It saddens me a lot of women have internalized misogyny when it comes to actual powerful women. I guess because that kind of woman forces people to confront rules they never consented to, but still enforce (the women Dworkin talked about in her books). What they want isn’t “better writing”, that’s just a smokescreen.

I don’t like Jules but she has a point. Emotional regulation is important. Just because someone isn’t crying, screaming, whining and is acting like a functional adult doesn’t mean they don’t have feelings.

These characters couldn’t be more cliché if they tried…
