It’s getting harder and harder not to DNF this book :/

Did I finish it? Yes.
Did I enjoy finishing it? Not particularly.
Did I stick around solely to see if the characters would finally mature or have any meaningful growth? Absolutely.

I'm thinking abt DNFing bc the friends-to-lovers romance hasn't developed convincingly. Both MCs feel emotionally stuck. Summer's attempts to reach her father have become more frustrating than poignant, and her attachment to her small town reflects an unhealthy fixation on the past. Parker's emotional dependence on her makes their dynamic feel more codependent than romantic. I wish there was more individual healing

Please don’t do it. You’re gonna look really stupid later…. I need you to connect the dots a bit faster. If you don’t, I know exactly how this story is going to end and I’m not going to like it. Please FMC, be smart!
