So…I’m going to go out on a limb here and say neither of the authors speak Italian. Italian words are just sprinkled throughout as if to remind you “hey—this is the ITALIAN mob.” But more importantly, the writers seem to be using literal translations from English to Italian (curse words) resulting in curses that aren’t actually used.

I have to say—I did not expect to like a pregnancy romance this much, but I do! Bo especially is just so excited about being a father that it’s hard not to be excited with him.

WTF? Wyn just said her annual income is $26K. How the hell is she affording ANY apartment—vermin infested or otherwise??

…the awkward calms down a bit about halfway through the book when they finally start having sex, but there are so. many. damn. euphemisms. Rocket, joy stick, hooha, chacha—the list goes on. There is absolutely nothing sexy about reading or hearing “in my chacha.” Also? If I have to hear the phrase “man-made orgasm” one more time I’m going to scream.

Well…both narrators suck, and the FMC is so painfully awkward I kinda want to shove a screwdriver through my eye…
