Got this as a gift and the idea of reading an advent book is so cute lol. And i'm actually reading the one chapter a day like it says to! (yay me for discipline)

spoiler alert but i'm comparing it to the show again, omg i totally wished that she had sex with Conrad & Jeremiah. would've made the cheating 10x worse like in the show lmao.
love that she kept the christmas in cousins scene in the book/show though

just started part 2 & wtf?? i had a theory he was the problem based off of how quickly he broke up with Nina, how sweet he has been and how he's been so okay with Nina's outbursts & actions. I hope there is some more info on Enzo's side of the story!!!!

Millie is the new housekeeper. Cecelia is the creepy 9 yr old daughter & Nina is the mom. There was a murder upstairs? Millie will move into the attic & she's creeped out by it and the daughter. The landscaper seems like he will also play a big role! & Millie has a questionable background.

I can't believe how much I enjoyed watching her on the screen without knowing at all how she was truly feeling behind the fake smiles & laughs! So sad. I'm not done yet but I wish we read a little more about her brothers and how they were treated too & also how their relationship was after her death, so far she's only spoken about her grandmother

this is so sad because i KNOW there are so many young children who unfortunately also praise their manipulative parents as well. their innocence just doesn't know any better! 💔 & also being so grown at the age of 8 like cleaning up after her older brothers and trying to step into her parents arguments :(
