i just hit page 192 as i started boarding my flight out of bogota; so far i’ve grown fond of neffy. i find a lot of her character flaws, worries, and shortcomings are really reflective of my own. rn im pretty scared on how the book is gonna end bc there’s so little of it left and i don’t think a lot of the issues will be resolved that soon.

i started reading this while i was on my flight to colombia. really really cool idea for a pandemic and super digestible.

it just got to the part of the story that has the typical “salem witch hunt” vibe to it and it’s really funny/sad seeing how abitha is getting through the whole trial

picked this book up while i was in el salvador at a bookstore, out of all their english selection (all of two shelves) this one stood out the most to me

i’m enjoying how brom has built up a really vivid picture of purgatory and how the hierarchy along with everyday life has been described.
i’m in part 5 now of the story and it’s gotten really interesting to see how all the different perspectives have intertwined

i’ve noticed he’s starting to open up about his sexuality

it started a little slower and more childish than i’d like but as the story progressed a lot of mature and serious themes came about in a way that felt natural and i think that overtime a lot of the child like innocence grew much like in real life
