This book is for people who like to read about life in a mellow and safe way, without too much action or a bug plot.

Listening to the audiobook. This book is definitely not for me. The writing is beautiful and characters and moods are nice and skillfully crafted, but it’s just all too comfortable and saccharine. The most edgy thing there is that the main characters mum had multiple husbands. Life is hard and challengibg but all these characters have evaded it all. I’m so bored and I would escape these people in real life.

This book is fucked up. Seriously.

This is horrifying. But good. But horrifying.

I don’t want to know that the meat has feelings 😭
